My tarot deck

This tarot deck project started last spring, in 2025, when I started systematically collecting ideas for my own deck. Starting the project felt difficult, as I thought that I should be somehow already developed a steady art style in order to be taken seriously or that I should have a very rigid plan for the style of the cards. But as art mages do, I consulted my tarot deck about this and I got the realization that my deck does not have to be like any other decks. If my style changes while making the deck, then it will! If I want to change the system for the cards midway, then I will. But the only way to learn to make a tarot deck is ultimately to make one! I gave up some of the control and now let the project itself lead.

Last autumn 2025 I painted my first card and acquired the materials to make all cards.
